What Does it Mean to Partner with US?

At Andrew’s Bravery Box, we know all too well the challenges caregivers face while caring for a child in the hospital. We know that children often don’t comprehend the need for certain daily procedures and may not always cooperate with you.

But we also know the power of positive reinforcement! This is where we can help. When you partner with us, we will provide you with a Bravery Box full of small toys to be used as therapeutic rewards. You also get our commitment to keep the boxes full with toys generously donated from our supporters.

All we ask from you is to let us know when you need more toys and to help communicate to staff and families about how to use the Bravery Boxes.

What does a Bravery Box look like?

Small sturdy bins on wheels measuring approximately 23-5/12" wide x 15-1/6" deep x 12-5/12" high with a lid held securely in place. Currently, our partners make these bins available on floors where patients stay multiple nights for procedures. Nurses and families can bring the bins to a child’s room, or use it as an encouragement to go for a walk.

Positive Rewards mean Positive Results…

Each patient will have unique fears and reservations about procedures in the hospital. We encourage you to allow staff and families to use the rewards in the boxes as they see fit for each child. Some children may need more incentives than others and that is OK! Whether you are a nurse trying to flush an IV, a family member trying to get a child to eat, or a occupational therapist trying to help a child maintain his or her physical development, we are here for you!
