FAQ

Are my donations tax deductible?

YES! Andrew’s Bravery Box is a 501(c)3 non-Profit Organization and all donations are tax deductible per IRS guidelines.

CAN I GET A RECEIpT FOR MY DONATION?

We send out annual giving statements every January for the previous year for any monetary donations. If you’d like a receipt for a Gift in Kind, you can use this link: Donation Receipt

Do you accept used toys?

No, we can not accept used toys. Our toys must be new and in the package. Because these toys are given out to children with a wide range of health issues, it is for their safety that we only use new items in our bravery boxes. Thank you for understanding!

Where are your bravery boxes located?

Our bravery boxes are located throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. For a complete list of locations, visit our LOCATIONS page.

What kinds of toys do you accept?

We accept new, in the box toys. Smaller items are preferred as kids may need to visit the bravery box multiple times throughout their stay. See our Suggested Toy List for ideas!

What percentage of your donations directly supports your program?

We are proud to say that 89% of every dollar spent goes directly to our program expenses of keeping bravery boxes filled with toys with the remaining 11% spent on operational costs. Our organization is volunteer run and we do our best to honor every donation and apply it to fulfilling our mission to reward bravery.
